Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
SEO For Accountants ("we," "us") operates https://www.seofor.accountants. This policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you visit the site, book a call, or otherwise contact the practice. The site is for owners and managers of accounting firms and CPA practices in the United States. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the site.
1. Information collected
Information may be collected in these ways:
- Information you send. Name, email address, firm name, and anything written in a Calendly booking. A phone number is not collected on this site unless you choose to put one in a booking.
- Booking details. When a call is scheduled through Calendly: name, email, the time selected, and any notes you add.
- Usage data. Standard technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device, browser, referring site, and timestamps. Google Analytics 4 (property G-9XF9RVJ1WG) measures this traffic.
This site does not run a customer account portal and does not collect payment-card details. Work is discussed on a booked call, not purchased through a checkout on the site.
2. How it is used
Information is used to:
- Reply to inquiries and run a booked call
- Understand which pages are read and whether the site is working
- Improve the site and the SEO practice offered to accounting firms
- Meet legal, accounting, or security requirements
Information is not sold. It is not used to build marketing lists for unrelated businesses.
3. Sharing
Information may be shared only in these cases:
- Vendors. Google Analytics, Calendly, and hosting process data as needed to run the site and the calendar. Each vendor's own privacy policy applies to that service.
- Law and safety. Disclosure if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the practice or others.
4. Cookies and tracking
Cookies and similar storage are used so Analytics can measure traffic and so the site can function. Google may process Analytics data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Analytics with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Calendly hosts the scheduling embed in the Contact section. When that calendar loads or a time is booked, Calendly collects what it needs to schedule the meeting.
If Google Ads is used later, conversion tags or remarketing cookies may be added. This policy will be updated before that happens. Google Ads settings and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out are the usual ways to control ad cookies.
5. Security and retention
Administrative and technical measures are used to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Booking records are kept as long as they are needed to reply, to do the work, or to meet legal or accounting requirements. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings for the property.
6. Your choices
You can ask what personal information is on file, ask for a correction, or ask that it be deleted, subject to records that have to be kept. Residents of states with privacy laws, including California, can use those same requests. Book a call to start.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children. Information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in practice, law, or how the site runs. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when that happens. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies.
9. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy: book a call from the Contact section.
Use of this site is also governed by the Terms and Conditions.
